HIKING

Well-marked walking and hiking trails begin directly behind the Hidalgo. For example, the Graf Volkmar trail, which is recommended for all seasons. It runs through the deciduous forest above Burgstall and is considered an easier walking or hiking trail despite some up and downs. Through the Graf Volkmar path you can reach the valley station of the Burgstall-Verano cable car, which takes you directly to the popular hiking area. For more hiking trails, we can advise you at the reception where you will also find a folder with hiking suggestions of varying difficulty.
